Shopping. The petite girl definately had an art with shopping, and dressing, and just about anything else to do with her credit card. And it was one of her faourite hobbies in the world. If she didn't love being at home with her family so much, she would be a complete addict to the Mall. Everyone in all of her normal, everyday stores knew her name. They all knew her size, what sort of style she loved. In a strange way, these people knew Alice.

She slid her card over the counter to the cashier, flashing the woman a dazzling smile, before picking up her new bags and leaving the store, her golden eyes lingering on the clothing as she left, judging each peice of clothing as she went. Hmm, I should get Bella into that dress, the colour would really suit her, Alice thought to herself, crossing the storefloor over to the racks, where a certain red silk dress stuck out to her. It was a truly gourgeous dress; it flowed to the exact right point, was the perfect shade of deep red, not to tacky, and it would look completely amazing on her sister in law. The pixie-like girl grinned to herself as she imagined Bella's face as she was given the dress, and forced by Alice to wear it. It would be priceless.

Small fingers flitted through the racks in search of the correct size for Bella, her eyes following them swiftly. Finally, she found the right size, and pulled out the dress, determined to get Bella into it later. She would look stunning in it, Alice knew. With another grin, she made her way back to the astonished cashier, and placed the dress carefully on the counter, making sure she made no creases, and slid her card back again.

Alice picked up her bags, and made her way across the store, fast, but not to fast, graceful, but not suspiciously so. She had been living like a human for far too long to blow her cover. Every move she made was practised to look human, every single blink of her eyes was calculated so she appeared human still. Noone in the Mall would ever guess the tiny girl would be anything other then human.

OVER-ALL Alice comes off as happy-go-lucky the majority of the time, but there is a complex side to her that many rarely see. Even with all of the inner turmoil and loneliness she feels during her early years, she manages to remain optimistic and generally happy. She often exudes a child-like innocence which is further perpetuated by her pixie appearance.

Her visions are a major part of who she is. She depends on them for everything from protecting her sister to predicting the weather. They make her thingyy at times. She sometimes forgets that the future is fluid and even one decision could change everything.

She fits into the role of a high school senior perfectly most of the time with her effervescent manner. She feels a constant need to care for her family, and will kick into high gear in times of need.

She is overall sweet and caring, but if you are on her bad side, she can be as scary as any vampire – even with her small stature.

Her hyperactivity and overzealous need to celebrate each and every human experience. This is a reason why she enjoys living the life of a human with all of the important elements of humanity – family, school, friend, and especially shopping.
RP sample: Okay, so maybe going to school was a silly idea, but Alice didn't have much else to do. She would much rather be at Forks High School than sit at home with the rest of the Cullens and be teased about how short she was. It wasn't her fault she was so tiny, it was their fault that they were too tall. Alice didn't mind being teased, but at home, especially with Edward and Emmett, it was a compulsive thing and it was something that they didn't let rest. She heard it pretty much all the time.

Alice glided gracefully into the canteen, her hair sitting perfectly as she did so. She had it sitting in it's usual style; spiked up out of her face. Alice hated her hair being in her face all the time, so spiking her hair up was really the only way to prevent that from happening as it used to. She bought the usual snack, an apple and a bottle of lemonade, and sat down at the table that the Cullens generally always sat at. Of course, she never touched her food or drink, the only reason she had bought it was to fit in slightly, it would look awful weird sitting alone with no food and absolutely nothing to do.

And with that she pulled out her cell phone, something she barely ever used. She dialled in a very familiar number and put it to her ear as the droning sound of the rings played out. ''Hello?'' said the voice on the other end. . ''Jazzybear.. get your ass into school", she said, grinning to herself. She loved how she had started out so sweet and then got straight to the point. She was very protective over Jasper and she loved him dearly as did he, so she knew that whatever she asked of him, he would always answer to that.

FULL HISTORY little is known about mary alice brandon's life as a human. alice herself remembers barely anything, making it difficult for her. what is known, is that she was born somewhere in 1901 in mississipi, america. all she knows about her family, is that she had a younger sister cynthia, who went on to have a child, alice's neice, but she doesn't know her name. what she does know, is that she was sent to a mental institution at an early age for having premonitions, and was thus told she was crazy. the only memory she can remember about the insitution is being in a dark, cold, cell, presumably her own. she isn't sure who, or how she was bitten, but she does know she had a stalker, james, who then went on to try and sabotage bella and edward. alice is unsure how she got away from him, or when, but he stopped following her later on.

at this time it was sometime in the twenties, and alice wandered aimlessly by herself, only feeding on animals. when she did accidentally feed on a human, it was by mistake, because she like humans from an early age and triednot to hurt them. she didn't have anyone to teach her about being a vampire, so she had some bad times, and was very, very lonely. she kept having her visions as she went, refusing to go against them as she thought they were just a gift.

in 1948, she finally met another vampire. she had seen a vision that inculed the same blonde haired man, so she waited in a diner for him to come, knowing fully well that he would. when he finally did step through the door, alice greeted him happily, looking up at him like he was the most amazing man in the world. she told him he had kept her waiting, and he ducked his head like a real southern gentleman, and replied "i'm sorry m'am." and at that moment, alice felt happiness.

so they travelled around happily, alice trying and succeding in converting him to a vegetarian vampire, helping him feed only on animals, instead of humans. shortly after they met, alice had a vision about another coven, who followed the same lifestyle as she did, and she and jasper set out to find the cullens. when they found them, they greeted the two happily, and she and jasper got along with the family very well.

so alice was now happy, she followed the cullens moves from house to house, feeding only on animals, and they even started going to school later on. alice and jasper got married happily, and the two only married once, wheras the rest of the family remarried a couple of times. but they felt their love was pure enough to need to marry again. the family were very peaceful, until they moved to forks, and edward, her adopted brother, met isabella swan, a girl who lived there. instantly, alice befriended her, and the two were very close, even though alice intimidated her with her shopping a lot of the time.

during the first year the cullens had met bella, bella was hunted down by the same james who had stalked alice earlier on in her human life. the family did everything to help her, and in the end, they killed james, thus saving bella from near death. later on in the year, at bella's birthday party, she got a papercut, and jasper nearly killed her from bloodlust. the family decided it would be best to leave forks, in order to keep bella safe. they left for half a year, and alice found out about her human family.

one night, during their time away, alice had a premonition about bella jumping of a cliff, in, what she thought was, an attempt to kill herself. she told rosalie that she was leaving to go help her, and rosalie told edward, who then went of to the volturi to try and kill himself, refusing to live whilst bella was "dead". alice, finding bella alive and well, took her with her to try and stop edward from killing himself. they stopped him, and returned home, but not without seeing the volturi, who showed a lot of intrest in edward and alice's abilities and also said that they had to change bella, as she was a "danger" to their secret.

the next year, victoria, james mate, started building a group of newborns, ready to take revenge and kill bella like edward had killed james. the cullens and the werewolves joined together to stop them in a battle, and they won, killing victoria. so they thought they were finished now, and that all was over. edward and bella married later on in that year, and alice organised their wedding skillfully. that year bella became pregnant with a baby, renesmee. she would be half-vampire, half-human.

Why are you the best choice for this character?
Becaus Alice is really protective about her friends and family and she would do anything to protect them and helps them with her power. I´m a family person to I would do anything for my family to protect them and to take care they are safe.
